Peloneustes is an extinct genus of sauropterygian reptile, it lived during the Middle Jurassic Period in what is known as England. Peloneustes belonged to the family Pilosauridae. At 10 feet (3 meters) in length it is one of the smallest of its family. It had a short neck and elongated jaws. Peloneustes possibly prey on hard bodied ammonites.
