Muraenosaurus "moray eel lizard", is an extinct genus of sauropterygian reptile, it lived during the Middle Jurassic Period, in what is now Europe. This marine reptile grew up to 30 feet (10 meters) in length. Half of its length was its neck, which was composed of 44 vertebrae, in relation to its long neck its head was small in proportion.
